Front-Wheel or Mid-Motor
With the E-Tide, you can choose where you want the motor. Do you prefer the Bosch Active Line Smart mid-motor or the SportDrive front-wheel motor? Each motor offers a different type of support, providing a unique cycling experience. With the Bosch Active Line mid-motor, you’ll experience more stability and a natural cycling feel. The SportDrive front-wheel motor creates the sensation of being smoothly pulled forward. The choice is yours!
Bosch Active Line = Smart
The Bosch Active Line Smart mid-motor on the Cortina E-Tide offers natural and silent support. With a torque of 40Nm, the motor is perfect for daily city rides. But it also provides reliable support for longer distances. The smart system allows you to connect all the e-bike components, such as the drive unit, the battery, and the LED Remote display, fully via the eBike Flow app. The eBike Flow app offers various functions. For example, you can use the navigation feature, lock your bike with the eBike Lock, and get extra walking support on climbs. Make your ride even more enjoyable by using the Auto-mode. This special riding mode automatically adjusts the support depending on the environmental conditions, so you no longer need to manually switch to a different riding mode when facing sudden headwinds or climbs.
SportDrive
The E-Tide with the SportDrive e-system features a comfortable front-wheel motor controlled by a rotation sensor. The advantage of the rotation sensor is that you can enjoy maximum support without exerting too much effort. You can choose between eight support levels. The quiet motor, with a torque of 30 Nm, is ideal for all your trips in and around the city.
